Focus and Scope

NOBEL: Journal of Literature and Language Teaching publishes articles on literature, language and language teaching from various perspectives, covering both literary and fieldwork studies. The journal puts emphasis on aspects related to language studies, with special reference to culture, literature, linguistics and language teaching.

This journal always places English language and literature in the central focus of academic inquiry, and invites any comprehensive observation with various dimensions in the country. The journal, serving as a forum for the study of literature, language and language teaching, supports studies of particular themes and interdisciplinary studies in relation to the subjects. It has become a medium of exchange of ideas and research findings from various traditions of learning that have interacted in the scholarly manner.

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts submitted to this journal go through an internal review and if they meet the basic requirements, they are sent out for double-blind review from experts in the field, both from identified reviewers and the editorial board. Comments from the external reviewers are sent to the authors and they are notified of the journal’s decision (accept, accept with revisions, reject). This entire review process will take anywhere between 4 - 6 months after submission of manuscript. The editor’s decision is final.

Publication Frequency

NOBEL: Journal of Literature and Language Teaching is published biannually in April and September with six articles per issue in average. However, start from April 2020, this journal publishes eight articles per issue to accommodate the need of research development.


Author Free of Charge

The authors are not obligated to pay, either to submit, process, or publish the article.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that makes research freely available to the public and supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All the articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This license permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
